{"id":146,"date":"2020-07-17T09:00:00","date_gmt":"2020-07-17T07:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/eic-it.infn.it\/?p=146"},"modified":"2025-01-30T12:47:31","modified_gmt":"2025-01-30T11:47:31","slug":"2020-eic-users-group-meeting","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/eic-it.infn.it\/index.php\/2020\/07\/17\/2020-eic-users-group-meeting\/","title":{"rendered":"2020 EIC Users Group Meeting"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The 2020 edition of the \u201cElectron-Ion Collider User Group Meeting\u201d will take place online through Zoom from July 15th to 17th.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This user meeting will be the first one to take place after the recent CD0 and site selection made by the US Department of Energy, with the EIC to be constructed at Brookhaven National Laboratory in partnership with Jefferson Lab.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As such the meeting will focus on the EIC physics program featuring topical sessions on new advances in physics as well as accelerator and detector R&amp;D related to the ElC.
