ATHENA proposal, manuscript accepted for publication in JINST

Dear Colleagues,

     it is my privilege to inform you that the ATHENA proposal, resulting from so much work and dedication by the ATHENA Collaboration, is now accepted for  publication on JINST, reference no. JINST_063P_0522.

The ATHENA proposal will also be documented in the DIS2022 proceedings and in the Pisa Detector Meeting 2022 proceedings. All this will complete the documentation of our 2021 effort.

At the same time, we are looking to the future with our contribution to the collaborative effort for the consolidation and optimization of DETECTOR-1, which will instrument IP6 at EIC.
