January 2026 ePIC Collaboration Meeting

The 2026 ePIC Collaboration Meeting will be held at Brookhaven National Laboratory from January 20 to 23, 2026, in the Science and User Support Center (Building 101). This meeting will bring together members of the ePIC Collaboration to discuss progress across all aspects of the experiment, including detector systems, software development, simulations, data analysis, and physics performance studies.

Summer 2025 Joint EICUG/ePIC Collaboration Meeting

The EIC User Group & ePIC Joint Collaboration Meeting has taken place from July 14-18, 2025, at the Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator Facility. This meeting has brought together accelerator, experimental, and theoretical physicists to discuss recent advances in the Electron-Ion Collider (EIC) and the ePIC detector.

The 2023 Electron-Ion Collider User Group (EICUG) meeting

The 2023 Electron-Ion Collider User Group (EICUG) meeting will take place in Warsaw, July 24th – 31st 2023. The meeting will be run in a hybrid mode with the in-person meeting at the University of Warsaw and remotely on Zoom. It will feature recent advances in the Electron-Ion Collider project, ePIC collaboration meeting, discussions on the second Detector, and a dedicated Early Career workshop. 

Electron-Ion Collider User Group Meeting – 2022

The 2022  Electron-Ion Collider User Group meeting will take place from July 26-30, 2022 will be hosted by the Center for Frontiers in Nuclear Science (CFNS) at Stony Brook University.  The meeting will be run in a hybrid mode with the in-person meeting at the Wang Center and remotely on Zoom. The meeting will feature recent advances in EIC project including the evolution of the recent detector proposals, discussions regarding the 2nd Detector and most importantly, formation of detector collaboration.   

2020 EIC Users Group Meeting

The 2020 edition of the “Electron-Ion Collider User Group Meeting” will take place online through Zoom from July 15th to 17th. This user meeting will be the first one to take place after the recent CD0 and site selection made by the US Department of Energy, with the EIC to be constructed at Brookhaven National Laboratory in partnership with Jefferson Lab. As such the meeting will focus on the EIC physics program featuring topical sessions on new advances in physics as well as accelerator and detector R&D related to the ElC. Electron Ion Collider User Group Meeting 2017

The Electron Ion Collider User Group Meeting will take place on Wednesday July 19th  through Saturday July 22th, 2017 on the University of Trieste organized by the Trieste Division of INFN and the University of Trieste. It will be preceded on Tuesday July 18th by a Workshop on Accelerators dedicated to the discussion of the challenges for such a collider with European experts.
